Year 2  Update - Spring 3

Class 7,8,and 9 are learning about the topic Space this half - term. We are learning about the history of space exploration, the first astronauts to land on the moon, and are even creating Space dioramas!. This week, all of the Year 2 classes will be exploring different work stations to help them decide on their diorama design (eg: planets in the Solar System, what it looks like in the spaceship, technology that astronauts use in space ). There will be four stations set up in the classroom where the children can learn about Space and share their ideas. The  children will be reading books, looking at examples of space dioramas, using the Internet to explore web sites about various space topics and exploring a variety of materials that they can use to create their diorama.

Here are some of the useful web sites we will be using. Have fun exploring them with your children! If you find anymore

fun web sites, please share them with us.
