The 'School Friends' are a group of parents, carers, staff and volunteers who plan, organise and help out with all sorts of activities and fundraising in school.  We help to finance some of the 'extras' in school and support lots of fun activities such as Film and Disco nights, the Easter Bonnet Parade, the annual Summer Fayre, various Cafes (some for charity) and other events including our very popular Bingo Night!  

Funds raised go towards reducing the costs of school trips each year (we usually fund the transport), helping Santa to visit and give out presents at Christmas (!), and funding 'extras'.  Our last big project was fundraising for resurfacing and improvements to the school playground which our children are now enjoying.      

We usually get together once a month during school time.  Currently this is mainly via online meetings.  If you can't get to meetings we have an email network for keeping in contact so just let the school office know you are interested and we will include you on the list.   Help is always appreciated for different events and it is a great way to get involved and support our children's school.

We are a registered charity and all funds raised are managed and accounted for in line with our legal obligations.
