Key Nursery Information

Children are offered a morning or an afternoon place.

8.50 - 11.50 am

12.10 - 3.10 pm

Keyworkers work very hard to add pictures and comments to your child's school diaries to show you what they get up to all day! It is a great ways for you to see what they do at school and for keyworkers to see what they do at home.  Children enjoy looking through them and enjoy filling them in.  Children can also have their own book bag.  These can be purchases from the office.  It helps the children become responsible for their own belongings and they can keep all of their pictures, library books home diary etc.  Children will be able to choose 2 books each week to take home and share with you.

Please remember the children are learning through play and can become very messy.  Please don't send your child in their best clothes as they could come home messy.  Alternatively your child could wear school uniform which can be purchased from Tesco.

What do we do at Nursery?

  • We learn through play
  • Prepare for school
  • Gross motor and fine motor skills
  • Communication
  • Personal and social skills
  • Physical skills
  • Routines
  • Love of learning
  • Counting, name writing, phonics an so much more!
  • We carefully plan imaginative activities to inspire your child's learning.  We teach them to be as independent as possible and learn nursery routines.  You can support your children by encouraging them to hang their own coats up and find their own name each morning.
