Sawley Before and After School Club is an independent wrap-around care provider which runs on the school premises before and after school each day. Please find further information and contact details below: 

We are Lisa and Surinder joint owners of Sawley Before and After School Club! We have been in operation since 2007 and have enjoyed serving the Sawley Community for all of those years. 

The club cares for children from 3 to 11 years old. This means that we are on the Early Years Register and are able to accept children who attend nursery. 

Our club is managed and ran by our fantastic experienced staff team most whom have worked with children for many years and understand their varying needs and interests. 

Breakfast club starts at 7am which is useful for parents and carers who start work early. It also gives an opportunity to beat the local traffic that builds up and get on with the day! The children get to have their breakfast whilst they socialise and play within a positive environment. This gives them the best possible start for their school day ahead (and hopefully gives parents a stress-free start to theirs!)

After school club starts as soon as the children have finished school and ends at 6pm. The infant children are collected from their classrooms whilst the junior children make their own way over to the building. The children play a range of games and activities in both rooms of the club. One room has activities such as a pool table, table tennis, large construction straws etc, and the other room has a creative area, a home corner, cars, a train set etc. Alongside all the free choice activities each afternoon there is also a focused activity. This is an adult led activity which may be something such as baking, a team game outside, or exploring a theme such as World Mental Health Day. Part way through the afternoon session children also have a light tea and a dessert. Things such as a pasta dish or sandwiches are served. We encourage healthy eating and the children will always have fruit or yoghurts for dessert - along with the occasional treat!

For booking parents/carers can book the same set days each week. We do understand that for some people that option does not work so we also accept flexible bookings. It maybe that a parent/carer works shifts and therefore their childcare needs change every other week. That is not a problem and is something that we can accommodate. 

The club is Ofsted registered so various government support schemes for help towards paying for fees applies. We accept Tax free Childcare Payments and also workplace vouchers. There are other options for support including educational support if parents/carers are studying and payment support within Universal Credit payments.
